Dr. Neuhauser joined Colorado Pathology Associates (now Summit Pathology) in 2004.

Thomas Neuhauser, MDDr. Neuhauser is certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with subspecialty board certification in Hematopathology. Dr. Neuhauser has authored more than 20 articles and numerous abstracts, and coauthored a book on physical examination published in 2003. He has lectured at multiple nationally attended meetings, and is a former President of the San Antonio (TX) Society of Pathology. Dr. Neuhauser is an active member of several national pathology organizations. Dr. Neuhauser has received additional training in the area of gastrointestinal pathology. His areas of interest include general surgical pathology, gastrointestinal pathology, and all aspects of hematopathology.

Following completion of a Bachelor of Science degree at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, Dr. Neuhauser attended medical school at the Uniformed Services University School of Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland. He completed a one-year transitional internship followed by an Air Force anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, TX, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Neuhauser subsequently served as a staff pathologist in the Department of Hematopathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington, DC for two years, followed by five years as a staff pathologist and Director of Hematopathology at Wilford Hall Medical Center. Before joining Colorado Pathology Associates, Dr. Neuhauser received additional subspecialty training at John Hopkins University in gastrointestinal pathology. He left the military at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
