More Information

I'm a patient, and I don't understand something on this pathology report! Who do I talk to?

We want you to understand your pathology report.

If you have received a copy of your pathology report, you have probably noticed that there are terms that we use that sound "medical" and may not be easy for you to understand. If that is the case, your best resource for answering your questions is your personal care provider. This is not because we don't want to talk to you, but because your provider knows your clinical situation, and can help explain what things in the report mean for you personally.

If your provider can't answer your questions, or tells you to contact us, you are welcome to contact us directly. There are several ways to contact the pathologist that worked on your case. The best way is to call our main number (970-461-6091) and ask for that pathologist. In some cases, you will be directly connected to the pathologist, while in others, the pathologist will have to call you back later. Either way, we will get to your question as soon as we possibly can. You may also use our Ask-the-Pathologist page to send an e-mail to your pathologist (just choose the pathologist's name from the drop-down list in the bottom box).
