What is the relationship between Summit Pathology and Northern Colorado Cytology Service?
Summit Pathology is composed of one group of eight partner pathologists that together own and operate several business entities.
Summit Pathology began as two groups of pathologists based in two Northern Colorado hospitals, McKee Medical Center in Loveland and North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley. As part of our 2007 merger, all of the pathologists of the new group became owners of Northern Colorado Cytology Service (NCCS).
NCCS has been providing state-of-the-art PAP screen interpretation and molecular pathology testing to the Front Range of Colorado and beyond for many years. NCCS is now a part of Summit Pathology, and we will continue to serve patients and clinicians in the same exemplary manner. The cytology laboratory is located on 10th Street in Greeley.
Both Summit Pathology client services representatives, Allen Saxton and Jill Lambert, can assist with questions and issues from either surgical pathology or cytopathology services.
